Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all you heart." What does being Catholic mean to you? I am priviledged to be part of an incredibly large, loving Catholic family, so being Catholic for me means community. It's a way to strengthen relationships and fellowship with others of the same faith. We are called to spread the message of Christ and a devoted community of believers is where it begins. My family, friends, and church community challange me to become a more faithfull Catholic as I walk the path God has layed before me. Why is your Catholic faith important to you? Without faith I would be totally lost in this world. Faith is something to lean on when nothing seems to make since. Sometimes it's hard to understand why things happen, but faith makes it a little easier to accept those things, especially in times of struggle and pain. It allows me to trust God and truly believe He has a perfect plan for my life; it's just all in His timing. What is your favorite part about St. T's 20-Somethings? I love that I've been able to meet such amazing Catholic Christians; people that share the same beliefs, uplift one another, have fun together, and challange each other. It's encouraging to see an involved group of young adult Catholics, and everyone has been very welcoming. This ministry has definitely made moving to Austin that much easier, so thank you Catholic 20-Somethings! |
