No community can be complete unless its members take time to worship God together, praise Him, and focus on Him. Our community is fundamentally about being brothers and sisters in Christ, and at the monthly spiritual activity we gather to specifically acknowledge that Truth. Our spiritual activities span the rich tradition and heritage that our Catholic faith provides, (hopefully) giving participants a deeper understanding of God's work in their lives and in the Catholic 20-Somethings Ministry.

Weekly spiritual activities include small groups (link to the small groups section) and meeting for the 5 p.m. Mass every Sunday at St. Theresa Catholic Church. We always meet in the middle of the narthex just before and after Mass and then sit together in the first several pews on the side of the church closest to the choir.

Monthly spiritual activities include participating in the diocesan-wide Theology on Tap, Prayer Team and then the designated monthly spiritual activities organized by the spiritual co-chairs of the group. Theology on Tap: Rotating monthly between a north and central location, this Christ-centered speaker-series includes a dynamic talk, question and answer period and time for socialization. It is a diocesan-wide event for all Catholic young adult groups, so it's a great way to meet Catholic young adults from other parishes! There's no cover charge, however, attendees must purchase their own appetizers and drinks. Cheers!

Prayer Team: The basis of every ministry should be prayer -- prayer for the ministry's guidance and growth, prayer for its members and their special intentions, prayer for potential members to be brought to the group and prayer for those who don't have a faith community anywhere. While the 20-Somethings Leadership Team regularly prays for the 20-Somethings, the spiritual health of our group cannot be left up to the Leadership Team along ... we need you and your prayers! It is essential for us as a ministry. Prayer Team meets on Friday evenings. Anyone who wants to pray for the Catholic 20-Somethings Ministry (members, non-members, friends, Catholics, non-Catholics, parishioners, etc.) is invited to unite in prayer for the spiritual health of our ministry and its members.

Monthly spiritual activities: These activities are organized by the spiritual activity co-chairs of the ministry and happen the third Wednesday of every month. They span a variety of activities from rosaries to praise and worship sessions, from reading the scriptures carefully through lectio divina to literally walking with God on a labyrinth to quietly listening for God's voice with taize.
