Subject: volunteering at the Catholic Charities Food Pantry

Hi Rafael,

Hope you're doing well. Here's the information I told you I would send, on how we still need volunteers at our Food Pantry.

Here's what we need:

Volunteers to work in the Pantry serving clients on Mondays &/or Fridays. Hours are 10:00 - approx. 1:15. Choose Monday or Friday, once/week, every other week, or once/month. Bilingual is a plus, although not required.

A couple of strong volunteers to pick up our food order from Capital Area Food Bank every or every other Tuesday at 11:30. Total volunteer time on this day is approx. 2 hours (11-1).

A group of 4+ volunteers to restock our Pantry shelves and prebag items on Tuesdays from 12:30- 2:30. Can choose to work every Tuesday, every other Tuesday, or once/month.

We also need volunteers to work on a more sporadic basis doing the following:
Organize a food drive within your parish (only if your parish doesn't already have a Food Pantry), neighborhood, or workplace. Our idea is to have one food drive per month. If we had 12 volunteers each could organize just one food drive for our Pantry, and thus every month of the year would
be covered.

And finally we need donations of the following:

Nonperishable food, personal hygiene products, laundry detergent, etc. These can be brought to our Pantry (1817 East 6th Street) Monday through Friday during our office hours (8:30-5:00).

Monetary donations to assist us in our Pantry efforts.

We'd love to have you and others come volunteer with us Rafael. If you are interested in helping us out in any of the above ways please call me at (512) 651-6128, or respond to this email to let me know in what capacity you'd like to assist. Thanks so much, and God bless you!
