March for Mothers
Written by Jen Jones
Monday, 15 October 2007
On Oct. 27, the 20-Somethings will be participating in the Fourth Annual March for Mothers for the third year in a row -- a service project we've participated in since the inception of our existence as a ministry! Please join us, if you're able. We're meeting at 8 a.m. in the St. Theresa Church parking lot and carpooling to Georgetown for the walk, which begins at 9 a.m.
The walk benefits the Annunciation Maternity Home. The mission of the home is to provide women in crisis pregnancy, and their children, with housing, education opportunities and health services to empower them in their journey toward independence.
If you are not able to participate but would still like to support this pro-life activity, you can pledge a donation for the 20-Somethings who are walking! The money doesn't have to be collected right now; the home will mail letters to collect pledges after the walk. If you'd like to sponsor our ministry, e-mail
